WORKSI-IOP OF ~ THE ELM CITY COUNCIL

Mayor Sanders called the workshop to order at 5:10'PM. Counci].members
present: Arnold Drogseth, Kathy Wolf, Amos Lawton, Rick Kolilis aild
Martha Parsons. Staff: Gene Borges, Daisy Lawton and Shelly Badger.
The following items were discussed at the workshop of the Yelm City
Council:
1. Use of present city building facilities
2. The need for more space for Yelm's Timberland Library
3. The possibility of consolidating all city offices to the present City
Hall site and moving the library to the Public Safety Building.
4. Discussion on the sewer treatment site property and other city
facilities, such as a Public Works Yard, that could be located on the
site. Also, an update on grant applications for the sewer project was
given.
5. Discussion on the use of the property owned by Thurston County Parks
and Recreation outside Yelm in Thurston County.
6. Yelm's Comprehensive Water Plan status
7. Discussion on the Mobile Home Ordinance.
