Public Works has requested that we do not require frontage improvements for the Mt. Aire Short Plat for maintenance reasons.
Tim states that when they do street sweeping, and plowing snow, the curb and sidewalk would be a maintenance issue. They may not see the improvements.
Tim also states that when Crystal Springs was paved back in ‘89/’90, the large shoulder on the east side of the road was intended for pedestrian/bikes. He requested that we do not require
frontage improvements on any of the east side of Crystal Springs.
He reminded us that the housing developments located to the north and south of this project would not be redeveloping any time in the near future, and this improvement would just be
sitting out there and creating problems for maintenance.
