Landscape letter City of Yelm Community Development Department 105 Yelm Avenue West P.O. Box 479 Yelm, WA 98597 May 9, 2005 Bob Benum P.O. Box 73130 Puyallup, WA 98373 Dear Mr. Benum: I have reviewed the landscape submittal for Mountain Sunrise dated April 4, 2005 and have the following comments. Please add the City of Yelm Street Tree Planting Detail # 4-19. Please show where you propose perimeter fencing, and how perimeter landscaping is addressed in locations without fencing. Tree placement may be readjusted by driveway and underground utility conflicts, not removed. Open Space landscaping: For this section, you have two options. Plant native prairie grasses, and maintain until area is self sustaining. or 2) If you choose to hydroseed, and have lawn there, you must provide irrigation and maintenance program for upkeep until the trail system in connected to the Yelm Tenino Trail. The irrigation plans will be reviewed separately by our Engineer, Jim Gibson. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call at (360) 458-8496.
