Mr. Kidwell:
This letter serves as the clearing and grading approval for Cherry Meadows Subdivision. This approval has been granted based on the plans dated June 24, 2004. Please read the following
conditions of approval before beginning the clearing and grading phase of your project. This approval is only for the clearing and grading of the site. This project does not have approval
for any utilities or final roadway grading plan as of this date.
Prior to Commencing Operations:
A preconstruction conference will be scheduled with the City of Yelm. This may be coordinated by calling Jim Gibson at 360-458-8438 at least 3 days prior to date of request.
Before the preconstruction meeting date:
All property corners shall be staked the clearing limits shall be delineated at least every 200 feet.
The construction entrance and silt fences shall be installed as shown on the plans.
The trees to be retained in the open space Tract A shall be fenced and protected as required by the tree preservation plan and section 14.16.120 of the Yelm Municipal Code. The fences
shall be temporary chain link.
A sign shall be installed on the Killion Road frontage of the site with the name, address and phone number of the erosion control specialist responsible for the site.
The appropriate signs shall be located as required by the MUTCD for the entering and exiting of the traffic to the site.
Access to the Site:
All site access shall be from Killion Road.
The roadways shall be kept clean and all materials tracked onto the roadway shall be cleaned up promptly.
The construction entrance shall be installed and measure a length of 100 feet. This shall be the only area that vehicles enter and exit the site without written approval from the City.
Clearing and Grading Limits:
The limits of clearing and grading shall be as shown on the approved plans.
If material is expected to be removed from the site, a truck route plan shall be submitted to the City for review and approval.
Dust Control on the Site:
A water truck will be required to onsite at all times when the City of Yelm or conditions require.
A fire hydrant water meter will need to be issued from public works. You may contact them at 360-458-8410 to arrange for the meter.
Hours of Operation:
The hours of operation of equipment and tools are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Saturday.
The issuance of this letter does not limit the ability of the City of Yelm to require additional measures or requirements as it sees fit to limit the impact of construction to the neighboring
properties or city utilities.
