Dear Mr. Lubbesmeyer:
Our department has completed a final walk thru on the above mentioned project. The following are a few minor items that were discovered during this walk thru, these items must be completed
to assure in finalizing the project.
These items are listed as follows:
Civil Engineering Department Comments: October 2, 2006
Sidewalk not complete on Longmire & Durant.
Lots throughout project need to be graded and brought to sidewalk elevation with Top Soil.
Debris needs to be removed at all sites.
Storm Pond, Needs to be completed.
Broken Sidewalk Panel at the end of Durant needs to be replaced.
Sidewalk on 100th Avenue Needs to Tie-In to Existing Sidewalk.
Cable or Telcom cable needs to be buried or placed in boxes.
Community Development Department – Landscaping
Hydroseeding needs to be completed within Plat and within Storm Pond where top soil is visible.
4” x 6” pressure treated wood and root barriers around street trees required.
Trees missing on Lots 10 and 14.
Water Department Comments – September 29, 2006
1. The Water Department needs a copy of the well abandonment report.
2. The meter setters need to be straightened out and operating nut spread apart so the
meters can be set in at the following lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 15, 17, 18 and 19.
3. The fire hydrant at 100th Ave. and Durant Dr. is too high. See the fire hydrant detail on
Your prints.
4. We have the bacterial test and backflow test results.
Sewer Department Comments – October 3, 2006
Gate valve at Sta. 13+33.43 needs lid with “sewer” written on it.
Gate valve at Sta. 2+47.54 has no toning wire .
The End of Line clean out cap at Sta. 10+00 must be brought up as high as possible in the valve vault.
Expose all ball valves and toning wire in the Carson Boxes (some contractors use 4” or 6” stand pipes to provide access to valves within the carson boxes)
The Carson box at lot 12 must be brought up to grade.
Public Works Department Comments – September 27, 2006
Durant Drive missing sidewalk panels.
One bad panel at the end of Durant Drive.
Approximately 54’ of sidewalk missing on 100th Ave.
1 panel with hand prints on it.
No back grading.
