Box 479 Yelm, WA 98597 Pre-Application Meeting December 29, 2004 These comments are preliminary in nature and are not intended to represent final comments and or requirements for the City of Yelm. Until a complete application is made, the Community Development Department can only attempt to inform the applicant of general requirements as they appear in the form presented by the applicant at the time of pre-submission. Proponent: Ron Bellows Project Proposal: Mobile Espresso Van Project Location: City-Wide Attached is a copy of Section 5.16 of the Yelm Municipal Code that discusses a peddlers license. To operate the mobile van throughout the City, these regulations must be followed. ‘ To be very clear, a peddlers license allows you to travel from place to place throughout the City. What it does not allow you to do is to park your van in any one place for any length of time. For example: parking your van in the QFC parking lot every morning during “coffee time” would not be acceptable; however, having your van at a special event such as a foot ball game, or a sales event at a local business is acceptable. If you wish to park your van at a regular place, at regular time intervals would require Site Plan Review and additional conditions of approval would be required such as; paved parking, landscaping, connection to City water and sewer, and Traffic Facility Charges.
