742 Dare Fund IncreaseCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO 742
AN ORDINANCE amending the City of Yelm 2001 Budget, Ordinance No.
715, (12/00) by increasing the DARE Fund (109) operating transfer by
$4,000.00 and declaring an effective date
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm has a strong commitment to the youth of our
community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm recognizes a need to partner with Yelm Community
Schools and providing tools, education, and mentoring, to the youth of our community;
and
WHEREAS, the City also recognizes the need to commit financial resources to
continue to operate programs to benefit our youth;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Yelm do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The 2001 operating transfer from the Current Expense Fund (001) to the
DARE Fund (104) is authorized.
Section 2. The operating transfer funds shall be provided by decreasing the Capital
Reserve appropriation for 2001.
Section 3. Any unused funds remaining at the end of the current year shall carry
over into the 2002 Budget as Beginning Net Cash reducing the operating
transfer.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect five days after the date of its publication.
Section 5. A copy of this ordinance shall be forwarded to the State Auditor's Office.
