721 Readopting Ord 666C[TY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 721
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON, READOPTING
ORDINANCE NO. 666 ESTABLISHING GUIDELINES AND RATES FOR SITING
WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES IN OUR COMMUNITY.
WHEREAS, on August 25, 1999, the City Council passed Ordinance No. 666 to avoid
unnecessary confusion and facilitate coordination between Thurston County and the City of Yelm, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 666 was adopted only after a study producing findings demonstrated
that policies and rates established by said ordinance were in the best interests of the City and its citizens,
WHEREAS, Initiative Measure 722 declared ordinances relating to taxes and fees adopted
between July 2, 1999 and December 31, 1999 to be void and of no effect. Therefore, it is necessary to
readopt the provisions of this Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE,
follows:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON, as
Section 1. Ordinance No. 666, a copy of which is attached, is hereby readopted in its entirety.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, or phrase of this
ordinance is declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining parts of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective on and after December 6, 2000
