771 Amend Ord 759 and 746CITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 771
AN ORDINANCE amending City of Yelm Ordinance No. 759 (4/02) and
the 2002 Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 746 (12/01) and the attached
Employee Salary Schedule, Section 2, Appendix II, by extending a
temporary position in the Yelm Police Department for a provisional patrol
officer.
WHEREAS, continued efficient operations of the Yelm Police Department requires e-rex~i>
fi}Ii~g- extending a temporary provisional position during the anticipated staffing shortages while
new officers are undergoing training;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Yelm do ordain as follows:
Section l . City of Yelm 2002 Budget Ordinance 746, and Salary Schedule, Appendix I[
annexed to and incorporated therein by reference, are amended by
extending a Temporary/Provisional Patrol Officer position from July 1, through

$14.14 per hour
Section 2. No benefits shall apply to this temporary/provisional position.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after its passage,
approval, and publication.
Section 4. Ratify and Confirmation Clause -Any action taken pursuant to this ordinance
but prior to the effective date is hereby ratified and confirmed.
Adopted by the Yelm City Council at a regular meeting thereof this 26th day of November 2002.
