816 Increase DARE FundCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO 816
AN ORDINANCE amending the City of Yelm 2004 Budget, Ordinance No.
794 (12/03) by increasing the DARE Fund (109) operating transfer by
$8,000.00 and declaring an effective date
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm has a strong commitment to the youth of our
community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm recognizes a need to partner with Yelm Community
Schools and provide tools, education, and mentoring, to the youth of our community; and
WHEREAS, the City also recognizes the need to commit financial resources to
continue to operate programs to benefit Yelm's youth people;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Yelm do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The 2004 operating transfer from the Current Expense Fund (001) to the
DARE Fund (109) is authorized to increase by $8,000 to a total of
$28, 000.
Section 2. The operating transfer funds shall be provided by decreasing the Capital
Reserve appropriation for 2004 BY $8,000.
Section 3. Any unused funds remaining at the end of the current year shall carry
over into the 2005 Budget as Beginning Net Cash reducing the operating
transfer for 2005.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect five days after the date of its publication.
Section 5. A copy of this ordinance shall be forwarded to the State Auditor's Office.
