841 Increase Operating TransferCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 841
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Yelm amending the 2005 City of
Yelm Budget, adopted by Ordinance No. 819 (12/04), by increasing
the operating transfer from the Current Fund (001) to the City Street
Fund (101) and declaring an effective date.
WHEREAS, the City Street Department is funded primarily by
operating transfers from the Current Fund; and
WHEREAS, prior and current year costs resulted in a lower than
expected net cash carryover for 2005; and
WHEREAS, street maintenance costs and equipment repair costs
will be higher than original estimates; and
WHEREAS, these combined factors may result in a shortfall before
the end of the current budget year;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM,
WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 2005 City of Yelm Budget is amended by decreasing the
existing Current Fund $741,170 Capital Reserve appropriation and
increasing the $147,614 City Streets Operating Transfer by
$25,000 each.
Section 2. Ratify and Confirmation Clause -Any action taken pursuant to this
ordinance but prior to the effective date is hereby ratified and
confirmed.
