CITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 433
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
YELM, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, the record owners of at least sixty percent of the value
of the property described below have petitioned for annexation to
the City of Yelm,
WHEREAS, the City Council of Yelm has held a dUly-noticed public
hearing regarding such annexation,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such annexation is in the best
interest of the City and conforms with annexation policies of the
City as set forth in the Comprehensive Plan and Yelm Municipal Code
Chapter 2.66.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described territory is hereby
annexed and made a part of the City of Yelm:
All of those parts of Section 24, Township 17 North,
Range 1 East W.M. and of the northeast quarter of Section
25, Township 17 North Range 1 East W.M. lying
southeasterly of the northwesterly boundary of the right-
of-way of State Highway Route 507 (formerly Secondary
State Highway 5H and Rainier-Yelm Highway) as shown on
State Highway Plan Profile Sheets numbers 9 and 10 of
Federal Aid Secondary Project Number FAS-261-D(1),
excepting therefrom the South one-half of the Southeast
one-quarter of the northeast one-quarter and the East
412 8 feet of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said Section
25;
Together with those parts of the West 20 feet of Section
19, Township 17 North, Range 2 East W.M. and of the West
20 feet of the northwest 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and the North
1/2 of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 30, Township
North, Range 2 East W.M. lying southerly of said highway
right-of-way boundary.
SECTION 2. Said property shall be subject to the existing
indebtedness of the City of Yelm and to pay said indebtedness shall
be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as
other property within the City of Yelm.
SECTION 3.
Said property shall be zoned In accordance with

Section 17.12.100(B)(l) of the Yelm Municipal Code until such time
as the Comprehensive plan and Zoning Ordinance of Yelm are amended
to include and address further urbanization of said area.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective on the 9th
day of June, 1992, being a date not less than five days following
publication.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall record a copy of this
Ordinance in the Office of the County Auditor and file a certified
copy with the Board of County Commissioners.
