CITY OF YELM
WHEREAS, the record owners of at least sixty percent of the value
of the property described below have petitioned for annexation to
the City of Ye1m,
WHEREAS, the City Council of Ye1m has held a duly-noticed public
hearing regarding such annexat1on,
WHEREAS, the Boundary Review Board jursidiction has not been
invoked, and
WHEREAS, the City Council f1nds that such annexation is 1n the
best interest of the City and conforms with annexation policies
of the City as set forth in the Comprehensive Plan and Ye1m
Municipal Code Chapter 2 66
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YElM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 The following described territory 1S hereby annexed
and made a part of the City of Yelm"
That part of the swt of the NE~ of the NE~ of Section 30.
Township 17 North Range 2 East W M lying southerly of Yelm
Avenue eState H1ghway 507), Together with the wt of the SE~
of the NEt of Section 30, Township 17 North Range 2 East
W M, Together with the SE~ fo the SW~ of the NEt of
Section 30, Township 17 North Range 2 East W M, Together
with the Nt of the NE~ of the NW~ of the SE~ of Section 30,
Township 17 North Range 2 East W M; Together with that
part of the Et of the SE~ of the NEt of Section 30 Township
17 North Range 2 East W M , beginning 276 5 feet north of
the center of the SEt of the NEt of said section, thence
south 54 degrees 56 m1nutes east 621 5 feet; thence east 150
feet to a point 576 5 feet north of the quarter section
corners between Sect10ns 29 and 30, thence north to the
point of intersection with the southerly right-of-way
boundary of Yelm Avenue eState Highway 507), thence
northwesterly along said boundary to a point north 360 5
feet more or less of the point of beginning, thence south to
the point of beginning, Together with all adjacent public
rights-of-way excepting that right-of-way east of the above
described area and known as Morris Road and all other
rights-of-way east of the northerly extension of the western
boundary of said right-of-way

Section 2. Said property shall be subject to the existing
indebtedness of the City of Ye1m and to pay said indebtedness
shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same
basis as other property within the City of Yelm
Section 3 Said property excepting the highway right-of-way
shall be zoned as Residential Agriculture five-acre (RA-5)
pursuant to Ordinance No 388
Section 4 This Ordinance shall become effective on the ~ day
of All<]llst 1992, being a date not less than five days following
publication
Section 5 The City Clerk shall record a copy of this Ordinance
in the Office of the County Auditor and file a certified copy
with the Board of County Commissioners
