Section Z. Said property shall be subject to the existing
indebtedness of the Cit,/ cf Yelm ar;c to pay said indebtedness

Section 3. Upcn annexation said prcperty shall be zoned and the
zoning map of Yelm amended as folicws:

centerlines of Burnett Road and State Route 510. thence
north 360 feet more or less to the north line of said
quarter-quarter-quarter section. thence east 622 feet,
thence southwesterly 690 feet more or less along the west
boundary of Short Subdivision 8013 to 'the state route
centerline, thence northwesterly 425 feet along said
centerline to the point of beginning. shall each be zoned
Commercial (C-1); and
the remainder of the area to be annexed shail bP zoned
Residential-Agriculture Five-Acre (RA-5~.
Section 4. The Ye1m Comprehensive Plan maw shah be amended to
designate the commercial zone described aoove for commercial use
and the remainder of 'the area being annexed as Single-Family
Residential.
Section S. The City Cierk sha-:1 record a copy or this Ordi-~ance
in the Office~of the County Auditor and file a certified coQ_v
with the Board of County Commissioners.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall become effective en t;ne ~~ day
of Februaxy1993, being a date not less thin five days following
publication

ORDINANCE N0. 462
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJACENT TO
MOUNTAINVIEW ROAD, EAST OF BURNETT ROAD AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 510.
WHEREAS, the record owners of at least sixty percent of the value
of 'the property described below have petitioned for annexation to
the City of Yelm,
WHEREAS, the Yelm Planning Commission has held a duly-noticed
public hearing recommended zoning upon- annexation as set forth
herein.
WHEREAS, the City Council of 'Ye lm has held a duly-noticed public
hearing regarding such annexation.
WHEREAS, the jurisdiction of the Thurston Boundary Review Board
has not been invoked. and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such annexation is in the
best interest of the City and con`orms with annexation policies
of 'the City as set forth in the Comprehensive Plan and Yelm
Municipal Code Chapter x.60.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES ORD,4IN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described territory is hereby annexed
and made a part of the City of Yeim: °
The NZ of the NV.d4 of the NE4 of Sect ion 2~ a'nd' the S' ' cf Lhe
Sw4 of the SE4 of Section 13. together with the all of that
portion of the SEA of the SW4 of Section 13 now lying
outside the Yelm city limits, 'together with the SZ of the
NE4 of the SW4 and the SZ of the NE4.,of`~,~the NE4 of 'the SW4
of Section 13, al i within Township `~17``'No`r`th~, Range~F1'`;4Cast
W.M.; together with all adjacent public rights-of-way
including the adjacent northerly terminus of that public
right-of-way known as Burnett Road..
Section 2. Said .property shall be subject to the existing
indebtedness of the City cf Yelm and to pay said indebtedness
shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same
basis as other property within the City of Yelm.
Section 3. Upon annexation said property shall be zoned and the
zoning map of Yelm amended as follows:
