Dear Mr. Balascio:
In March 2004, Yelm Property Development, Inc. deposited $10,086.75 into an Assigned Savings Account to guarantee landscaping and road repair for a subdivision development, Case No.
SUB-04-0012-YL, Willow Glenn Phase II, until such time as the subdivision was completed. The City of Yelm has deemed the subdivision complete, with landscaping and road repair also
being complete. In June, I requested that a refund check be issued to you for your Landscape Maintenance Bond. I requested that the check be returned to me to include in a letter to
you. However, that check inadvertently got mailed to you separately, without my letter. It was check # 31775, payable to Yelm Property Development, in the amount of $10,086.75 (see
copy attached). This letter serves as clarification as to why you received that check and what it was for. I apologize for any confusion you may have experienced.
Sincerely,
Roberta Allen, Administrative Assistant
