8246 BLDGE TRASH December 20, 2001 Pamela Trevithick GGLO, LLC 1301 First Ave, Suite 301 Seattle, Washington 98101 RE: Prairie Park Building E Architectural and Landscaping Plans for Trash Enclosures COY Project No. PDD-8246-YL Dear Ms. Trevithick: I received your architectural plans for the trash enclosure dated December 6, 2001 and the Landscape plans dated December 13, 2001. The following review comments are from my review of the above referenced plans. Architectural Site Plans: 1. Are you going to place a hose bib in the trash enclosure? If so please designate this location and how the anticipated connection will take place. 2. Is there going to be any type of lighting for this area? If so please show on this plan. 3. The area drains are approved as shown on the plans. However I have been requested to allow the connection to the storm system in another area. This has been verbally approved. Please show this on the revised plans. I have talked to Brenda Toole and Bill of Turner Const. about this new design. Design Review of the Architectural Plans 1. The metal panel gage and color not shown on the plans. 2. The trim of panel is not noted. 3. The tube steel color is not noted. 4. The finishes of the concrete surfaces are not noted. Review of the Architectural Plans by Le May Inc. Ric Thompson of Le May Inc has reviewed the plans. The plans have been approved by Le May for location and dimensions of the enclosures. Le May has required an asphalt surface in front of the trash enclosure for their truck to drive on. This may force the issue of completing the paved roadway in front of the enclosure. Landscape Plans 1. The plans are approved as designed. When you resubmit the plans include 2 sets of the Landscape Plans for my approval signature. Also please update the enclosure design to reflect what was submitted on the Architectural Plans. Please revise and resubmit your plans for approval. When you resubmit the plans, submit 2 sets to myself at the Community Development Department. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please call me at (360) 458-8438. Respectfully, Jim Gibson Development Engineer CC: Breanda Toole Cathie Carlson
