Re: Landscaping around refuse area for Bldg. E.
I've reviewed the landscaping plan that was approved prior to the relocation of the refuse
collection area. The landscaping in this area is intented to meet the 8' perimeter landscaping
requirements of the zoning code not as a screen for the refuse area. While landscaping in this
area is required, the approved plan provides landscaping beyond our minimum standards.
The applicants can either submit a revised plan for the Cities review and approval or they can
make the following changes to the landscaped plan dated Octobe 19, 2001. (see attached plan)
1. Reduce the number of Crataegus Phaenophyrum Trees from 8 to 5.
2. Reduce the number of escallonia Bifida from 44 to 20.
3. Reduce the number of Rosa Nutkana from 35 to 20.
4. For the ground cover they can either use grass or use the Rubus Calycinoides 'Emerald
Carpet' as shown on the plan.
5. It is not necessary to plant any of the Senecio Grey.
