The approximate location would be between your building and the City of Yelm’s railroad right-of-way and to continue behind Gorders Auto Rebuilders. At this time chain link fencing is not an approved material. The City of Yelm’s Design Guidelines addresses the approved materials that may be used in this instance. Page 52 section k. states, “Prohibited materials – The following materials are prohibited in prominent locations visible from the frontage street. Mirrored glass Corrugated fiberglass Chain link fencing (except for temporary purposes such as a construction site). There are other fencing options available in the Design Guidelines. If you would like to utilize another type of fencing please contact us with the specifications and we can consider other options. If you have any questions or concerns I can be contacted at (360) 458-8438 or Cathie Carlson at (360) 458-8408. Sincerely, Jim Gibson Development Engineer cc: Shelly Badger Jim Gibson Tami Merriman
