SUBJECT: WARRANTY ON UNDERCOUNTER REFREIGERATOR-SERIAL NO.011-17-N-2044
Dear Ms. Fennell:
This letter is to confirm the warranty coverage on the Cervitor refreigerator
shipped to you on September 28, 2001
All Cervitor refrigerators carry a one year warranty, parts and labor,
from date of shipment (or date completion notice filed on building,
whichever is later) for repair and/or replacement of any parts or
components that fail due to defects in materials or workmanship.
An additional limited warranty (parts only) covers the refrigerator motor
compressor on a pro-rated basis, the second through fifth year (for a
total of 5 years).
In the event service under warranty period is required, the customer is
requested to contact the Cervitor factory at (626) 443-0184 for service
authorization.
Thank you.
Best regards,

Operation and Care
1. SET COLD CONTROL - the cold control is located on the front of the refrigerator and is
calibrated from number 1 (the warmest) thru 7 (the coldest).
TO SET COLD CONTROL - advance the dial from the "off" position, clockwise to the normal
operating setting of between 3 and 4.
2. DEFROSTING - defrosting should be accomplished whenever there is a heavy buildup of
ice on the freezer compartment.
TO DEFROST - turn the cold control to the "off" position. Remove frozen food from the freezer
compartment. Place pan under the freezer compartment to catch the melting ice. Leave refrig-
erator door ajar, (you may also want to place a pan of hot water in your refrigerator to speed-
up the defrosting process). When freezer is completely defrosted, dry the freezer compart-
ment thoroughly with a cloth. Reset cold control to normal operating setting, (between number
3 and 4). Replace food and ice cube trays.
CAUTION: Never use an ice pick or other sharp object to loosen or pry ice off freezer.
This can cause a leak in the refrigerator system - voiding the manufacturers warranty.
3. CLEANING - abrasive cleaners should not be used. A mild soap and water solution should
be used to occasionally clean the interior of the unit.
DANGER RISK OF CHILD ENTRAPMENT DANGER
Before you throw away your old refrigerator or freezer: Take off the doors,
Leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside.
