Dear Mr. Leingang:
I have reviewed the plans submitted 1/23/03 and with a dated PE stamp of 1/24/03). The following are comments from the above referenced plans and need to be addressed on the future
submittal. I have organized these comments by general category. If you have any questions I have also included a set of redlined plans to clarify these comments.
Cover Sheet: Sheet C-1
The revision block should read Development Review Engineer instead of Director of Public Works. (Typical all sheets)
When sealing your signature to the plans please add the date of signature. These plans were submitted with a date of 1/24/03 on the stamp, most likely by Fineline. The plans were dropped
off at the office on 1/23/03.
Drainage Plan: Sheet C-2

How is the oil/water separator vault going to be accessed for maintenance? The vault access points will be approx. 3’ below finished grade.
Site Plan: Sheet C-4
Site construction note no. 2 has a reference to “new asphalt fire lane.” Please remove the “fire lane” wording. This roadway in not being designed as a fire lane. All fire lanes must
be 20’ in width.
Thank you for adding the “Cullens roadway realignment” information. Due to the continued confusion about this alignment, the City of Yelm will be placing additional survey markers along
the right of way centerline to be used for construction of the frontage improvements. Any additional changes to the frontage design will be made during construction.
Utilities Plan: Sheet C-5
The new 1 ½” domestic water meter needs to be moved to the front of the building. Along side of the irrigation water meter. The meter reader needs to be able to read the meter from
the right of way.

you resubmit your package, please send 2 revised mylar sets, two drainage reports, 1 set of half size drawings to scale and the AutoCAD files on a CD. If you have any questions or comments,
