Description of Proposal
The proposal consist of a City Public Works Facility and Public Safety
Complex. The Public Works building is 10,000 square feet of which
2,000 square feet is administrative offices and 8,000 square feet for
vehicle maintenance, repair and storage Phase I consists of
infrastructure and stormwater facilities Phase II is the construction of
the building Phase III is the Public Safety Complex which will house the
Yelm Police Department and Municipal Court.

Threshold Determination
The City of Yelm as lead agency for this action has determined that ti,lS
proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the
environment. Therefore, an environmental impact statement (EIS) wil!
not be required under RCW 4321 C 030(2)(c} This decision was made
after review of a completed environmental checklist and other
information on file with the lead agency This information is available to
the public on request.
