Environmental Assessment Checklist P. 4 Project Name and Identification No. Yelm Senior Multipurpose Center Summary of Findings and Conclusions: A senior center is an allowed special use in the City of Yelm R-6 zone. The site will be enhanced by improvements and landscaping. Through the special use permit, the senior center will meet all development guidelines for the City of Yelm. Summary of Environmental Conditions: The property is located along Yelm Creek. Construction and development will occur outside the Shoreline jurisdiction, wetland buffer, and 100-year floodplain areas. Project Modifications and Alternatives Considered: Project has been modified by reducing the size of driving lanes, and impervious surfaces. Additional Studies Performed: (Attach study or summary) No additional studies are required. Mitigation Measures Needed: Shoreline and wetland buffers to be left undisturbed during construction. Best management practices and regulations for development to be met during and after construction. Connection to City water and sewer services required.
