Dear Mr. Birkland:
The following comments are from the review of the reclaimed water plans submitted on Wednesday September 27, 2006. The intent of the submittal was to relocate the reclaimed water main
to a distance greater than 10’ from the potable water main. We have the following comments based on the review of these plans.
A User Agreement must be executed with the City of Yelm before the connection to the reclaimed water main at the property line can be made. Please contact Stephanie Ray at (360) 458-8414
to arrange for the agreement.
A detailed water balance needs to be submitted to the City of Yelm for review and approval
User protections, notifications and/or warning signs need to be installed per the City of Yelm requirements. These are not shown on the plans. A sufficient number of Reclamation Identification
Signs must be placed and provide for the site to inform site users that reclaimed water is being used to conserve the potable water and warn against consuming any type of non-potable
water.
The reclaimed water notes need to call out the specific “purple” color. The required color is Pantone 512 or Pantone 522.
Reclaimed Water note no. 1 should be City of Yelm not City of Yelm’s Water District.
Please note that all ID tags and all other informational and warning signs must be approved by the City of Yelm and all regulatory agencies. Please contact the City of Yelm for further
information.
