The City of Yelm and I reviewed the punchlist at the high school today and found the following:
Several of the butt splices in the tanks A & B and in the tank behind the auto shop have damage to the insulation. It appears as if the crimping tool may have punctured the vinyl insulation.
In addition, wire nuts are used in the explosion proof j-box for all wiring. The issue of not using a butt splice only pertains to the connection of multiple conductors. The two wire
connections are required by City Sewer Standards to be connected with a heat shrink butt splice.
As soon as the damaged butt splices are replaced and the wire nuts for the two wire connections are replaced with butt splices I believe we are complete in regard to the City sewer electrical
punchlist.
