Thank you for the opportuniTy to comment on the mitigated determination of nonsignifieanee for the
GMS Townhomes Construction project (File No. SPR-OS-0657-YL), located at 304 Longmire Street
Southeast, as proposed by GMS Construction, Inc. The Department of Ecology (Ecology) reviewed the
environmental checklist and has the following comment(s):
TOXIC CLEANUP: Lisa Pearson (360) 407-6261
If contamination is currently known or suspected during cons[metion, testing of [he potentially
contaminated media most be conducted. If contamination of soil or groundwater is readily visible, or
is revealed by testing, Ecology must be notified. Contact the Environmental Report Tracking System
Coordinator at the Southwest Regional Ot71ec at (360) 407-6300. For assistance and information
about subsequent cleanup and to identify the type of testing that will be required contact Mr. Bob
Warren with the Toxic Cleanup Program at [hc Southwest Regional Office at (360) 407-6361.
Ecology's comments are based upon the information provided with the SEPA checklist. As such, [hey do
not constitute an exhaustive list of the various authorizations that must be obtained or Icgal requirements
