Chris Merritt resubmitted the plans on May 17, 2007 and we have been working with Chris to answer his questions. Steve answered his last question on the water yesterday and Chris is expected to be resubmitting in the next few days. Sounds like he needs to have better communication with his engineer. Are the adjoining access points being proposed as ingress/egress? In which case what is the width? I would need them to send me full-scale drawing so that we can overlay them with our current site plan drawings to better understand the flow and impacts on existing parking stalls. Mike P.S. Still waiting for office site plan to be released. It has been submitted since February 27th. _____ From: Grant Beck [mailto:grantb@ci.yelm.wa.us] Sent: Thursday, June 07, 2007 12:47 PM To: miked@gotodq.com Cc: Jim Gibson; Tami Merriman Subject: Parking lot connection Mike - As you may know, the City has been reviewing a development proposal for the property adjacent to the DQ building in Yelm (the former Bon Jon's/Walt's Tire/LA Nails/Red Apartment site). As part of our review of their site plan, we noted an an opportunity to connect their parking lot in a couple locations to the parking at DQ and in the area in which you are going to be relocating the Chinese Wok buildings trash enclosure. I have attached a site plan in Adobe Acrobat *.pdf format for you to review. We think these connections would benefit traffic circulation between all three business complexes, as well as your proposed retail/office park behind the DQ building. The costs for construction the connection would be borne by the developers of the 5 corners piece, all we need is your approval of the proposed connections. If you have any questions, please give me a call at 458-8408. Thanks, Grant ******************************* Grant Beck, Director City of Yelm Community Development Department P.O.
