Chris: I met with “Smitty” from the water department out at the site this afternoon. I took some measurements and here are my findings. The entrance to Yelm Plaza, what you are showing
on the plans for the step sewer directly behind the handicap ramp is a step sewer air release, the water meter box shown to the north of the step sewer air release is 10’ away and the
proposed step sewer service connection is located 10’ to the north of that. “Smitty” said that the water service line in the meter box is 2” which should be o.k. for use. I hope this
information works for you.
