entered upon for these purposes shell be restored as near as possible to their original

SUBIECT 70: Step System Plat Easement Provisions, as showm on the face of the
plat. as follows: A perpetual easement is hereby reserved for and granted to the City of
Yelm, its successors and assigns, for operation, maintenance, and repair of any or ell
portions of the Septic Tank Eftlurn[ Pumps (S.T.E.P.) System including but not restricted
u: septic tanks, pmnp chambers, pressure/gravity sewer connation lines and pump status
panel, over, muter atM through the land herby platted. The propose of the easement is to
provide access for city officers and employees to the city-owned portion of the S.T.E.P.
SaWtary Sewer Systems. The width of the easement herein resmed shall be five feet each
side of pipe and electrical lines as wretructed. The width oC the rank casement shall
extend five feel beyond the edges of the rank. The owner shall maintain and is responsible
for the house lateral connecting the tadt to tbe house plumbing and inlet to the tank
chamber. The City of Yelm shall have the right to temporarily utilize such area beyond
the easement area described above that is necessary for the operation, maintenance and
repair activities on the S.T.E.P. System. It is possible that major landscaping items, e.g.
shmbs and trees, within the above easement right-of--way may be damaged during the
performance of operation and mainevance activities. The owner waives any claim against
the city fm damage m said items in the case where work by the city is dove in a
reasonable manner. The owner also waives any claim against the city for damages
generally which arise from "Acts of God" o[ of third parties, not involving feWt by the
