Box 479 Yelm, WA 98597 November 15, 2007 Keith Moxon GordonDerr, LLP 2025 First Avenue, Suite 500 Seattle, WA 98121-3140 Dear Mr. Moxon: The City of Yelm is working with several engineering firms to identify any potential impacts to Thompson Creek from the proposed Thurston Highlands Master Planned Community as part of the Environmental Impact Statement being prepared for the project. As part of these technical studies, the consultants are surveying the cross channel of Thompson Creek at various locations along the stream corridor and would like to survey the creek as it cross your clients, JZ Knight, property. If Ms. Knight is amenable to allowing access to her property for this survey, I will have Mark Steepy of KPFF Engineers contact you to coordinate access. I appreciate your clients cooperation in this endeavor which will help the City and others make good decisions on the best measures to protect the Thompson Creek corridor and drainage basin. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (360) 458-3835. I look forward to hearing from you. Grant Beck, Director Community Development Department
