The area is already in danger of running out of water. Also, it is located so near Thompson Creek that it could cause the aquifer to become contaminated. Even Olympia and Lacy will have contaminated water. Also, if so many new businesses are built, what will happen to the present businesses. Are there enough people around to support both areas. I already notice that many businesses are struggling. What will this do to traffic. I go into town as little as possible. It is easier for me to go around about way into Lacey than to spend so mch time and gas waiting to get through Yelm. We are on the list for a by-pass only if the money is not needed in Seattle or some other urgent project. I hope that your group will consider just these ideas. I could list many more, but I think this is enough to stop the idea of such a ridiculous project. Sincerely, Elaine Schenk <000801c8eecc$8d72a8e0$4001a8c0@laptop> Grant Beck Thurston Highlands EX /O=CITYOFYELM/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=THURSTONHIGHLANDS ThurstonHighlands highlands@ci.yelm.wa.us SMTP highlands@ci.yelm.wa.us eschenk@bigplanet.com SMTP eschenk@bigplanet.com eschenk@bigplanet.com eschenk@bigplanet.com
