Re: Landscape Inspection for Browns Auto Display Pads
Dear Mike:
The Community Development Department has inspected the landscaping at your auto display area. The following items need addressed before we can approve the landscaping.
The street trees planted on SR 507 and 106th do not meet City Standards for size and height. They are also too small to be considered for a landscape bond, as it will take many years
for the trees to reach minimum planting sizes. Please see the City of Yelm Street Tree Detail attached. If you cannot locate the appropriate size in the “dogwood” species, you may
choose a different species of tree from our street tree list.
The concrete blocks are still the bright red, white and blue. They are to be repainted in earth tones. The City of Yelm design guidelines require that when concrete blocks are visible
from a public street, they must be architecturally treated, and colors must be earth tones.
I saw some dirt and rock piles that I assume will be removed. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call at (360) 458-8496.
Sincerely,
Tami Merriman
