Ocst, cool Removing asphalt and placing road base and top course. Comapctioin on all layers.

Contractor is removing and hauling aspshalt from Middle Road. Contractor is placing road ballast and grading. Placing crushed rock top course. Good compaction. Contractor planning
on having Middle Road graded, compacted and fully prepped for paving on Tuesday October 31, 2006. I gave the o.k. for use of existing road base, it is good rock and granular mix. Contractor
will use 3” of crushed rock top course. Contractor will place 3” of asphalt.
4. Summary of Field Testing (Note failing tests and any retests. Condition of
material) Rock and granular road base o.k. crushed rock top course.
