Box 479 Yelm, WA 98597   June 22, 2007 Doug Bloom Forrester Heights Ph. 1 4200 6th Ave SE Suite 309 Lacey, WA 98503 RE: Forrester Heights Subdivision Phase I – SUB-05-0458-YL Preliminary Walk Thru Mr. Bloom: The City of Yelm Community Development Department has completed a Preliminary Walk Thru of the project site and listed some items that will need to be completed. The following are items that need to be addressed: After a preliminary walk thru of the project site, the following items need to be completed or replaced. These items are listed by the street in which they are located. Civil Engineering Comments: No comments at this time. Landscaping – Please provide type V landscaping, hydroseeding and vinyl fence around the stormpond. Pressure treated wood required for the street trees. Top soil and hydroseeding required within the planter strips of the subdivision. Please plant a mixture of evergreen and deciduous trees along the property line adjacent to lots 11-16. Provide hydroseeding and a mixture of Douglas Fir and Queen Maple within Tract A (Open Space). Water Comments – 1. The Developer is responsible for the cost of the fire hydrant locks and the City of Yelm Water Department will order and install them. The project will not be final until the City of Yelm has received the payment in full for the fire hydrant locks. 2. The booster station has not been built for this project. We should not final this project until it is in operation. 3. The landscaping needs to be finished, so we can check water meter box for final grade. 4. Remove the duct tape from all the meter setters. 5. Clean out the meter boxes for lots 3 and 4, raise the meter setters. 6. Need to raise meter setters for lots 5 and 6. 7. Need to remove the concrete from around the meter box at lot 7 and 8. 8. Clean out the meter box for lots 9 and 10, ensure the water meter will fit in the setter for lot 10. 9. Raise meter setters for lots 11 and 12. 10. Raise meter setters at lots 13 and 14, center them in meter box. 11. Clean out the meter box for lots 15 and 16, center the setters in the box. 12. Raise meter setters at lots 17 and 18. 13. The fire hydrant at lot 19 is too low. It is below final grade of sidewalk. 14. Clean out the water meter box at lot 19 and 20. 15. Check all the meter setters for clearance with meter body. Call Jon Ivey 458-8423. 16. Replace the irrigation meter box with the right box. Do not use a green irrigation box meter box. 17. Bacterial test were done and came back good. 18. Back flow tests were done, need copy of this report sent to: City of Yelm Water Department at 901 Rhoton Road P.O. Yelm, Washington 98597 19. Was the well decommissioned? If it were, the Water Department needs a copy of the decommissioning of the well. Please send it to: City of Yelm Water Department at 901 Rhoton Road P.O. Yelm, Washington 98597 Sewer Comments – No issues at this time. Street Department Comments – Clean all of the sidewalks.  Sidewalks cannot be inspected due to the debris from sprinklers system and landscapers working on site. Bring up grade on front and back of all walks. Remove plastic from extruded domes. Three bad panels marked in Red. No streets lights. Please review these items.
