The City of Yelm, (per a telephone conversation with Greg Cronk on July 31, 2018,) reached an agreement that the three trees removed without prior approval from the city would be replaced
no later than mid-September 2018. A follow up letter was sent on August 16, 2018 declaring September 17, 2018 the final due date for the replanting of the three trees.
That deadline has since passed, so the city now requires a letter explaining why these trees have not been replaced along with a plan to replant said trees.
If the three trees are not replaced by October 10, 2018 a fine of $250 per tree will be imposed. Every day the violation remains will be considered a new violation meaning you may be
fined for each day the violation continues to remain uncorrected.
