16307 Middle Rd16307 Middle Rd. SE Do Not Occupy Postings
On January 3rd 2018 Officer Joel Turner and I posted Do Not Occupy notices on three residential buildings located at 16307 Middle Road SE. This posting was necessary due to a lack of
water and power services, not to mention the decrepit shape of the dwellings.
Upon returning to the city of Yelm offices I was notified that an advocate for one of the occupants had contacted Karen Bennet. The advocate claimed a court order is in place stating
due to a disability the occupant is unable to relocate.
On January 10th 2018 I attempted to contact the advocate twice at (949)-514-0190. There was no answer and a message that a voice mailbox for this number had not been setup. I will attempt
to contact again soon.

On January 18th 2018 it was necessary for us to repost Do Not Occupy notices on the three residences noted above at 16307 Middle Rd. SE. The previous notices had been removed, and I
was informed the illegal tenants have been verbally notified that they have until Monday January 22nd to permanently vacate all residences on the property.
The property owner has communicated to the city that he intends to acquire a dumpster to clean up the property. He also conveyed to Chief Stancil that he has removed numerous loads of
garbage recently.
As long as we can observe a consistent and constant improvement on the property the city will be satisfied and legal abatement won’t be sought.
Several more attempts to contact the advocate on January 16th & 17th were unsuccessful.
