Frontage Improvements CostMay 20, 2002 Charlie Patton Construction Manager Jack in the Box 4500 SW Kruse Way Suite 270 Lake Oswego, OR 97035 RE: Frontage Improvement Fee Jack in the Box City of Yelm Project No. SPR 02-8306-YL Dear Mr. Patton: The following letter is to follow up on our phone conversation on May 20, 2002. The above referenced Jack in the Box was issued site plan approval on March 27, 2002. In the transportation section of the site plan approval letter the applicant is responsible for the frontage improvements on Vancil Road. The letter states: “The applicant shall be responsible for frontage improvements (curb, gutter, sidewalk, planter strip, and landscaping) along Vancil Road, and the City shall be responsible for the core road improvements. The City and WSDOT shall be the lead agencies in the design and construction of said improvements on both Yelm Avenue and Vancil Road. The applicant shall enter into an agreement with the City of Yelm for payment of the projects fair share for the design and construction of the above specified improvements, based on the bid award amount.” I have calculated the required amount to fulfill this requirement. The fee is $19,069.81. This fee will be required prior to certificate of occupancy and operation of the building. The City of Yelm will be sending you the appropriate agreement for this transaction.
