RE: Wastewater disposal for— Mobile Food Unit (Non - Restricted Menu)
Dear Mr. Porter.
I apologize for "dropping the ball" with your Permit re- instatement I received a fax
from Half Moon Sanitation on September 15, 2006. The fax was an agreement with
Half Moon Sanitation to provide Pumping of the waste tank for L &M Burger Wagon
on an'as- needed' basis. I verbally re- instated the permit in question and forgot to
write this letter.
This situation is acceptable on a performance basis. If at any time, wastewater spills on
the ground or backs up into the trailer, your permit may be revoked until a better
solution to this problem is found.
If you have questions, I can be reached at (360) 754 -3355 extension 7390.

Pre - Application Meeting
July 19, 2006
These comments are preliminary in nature and are not intended to represent final comments and or
requirements for the City of Yelm. Until a complete application is made, the Community Development
Department can only attempt to Inform the applicant of general requirements as they appear in the form
presented by the applicant at the time of pm4ubmission.
Proponent: Daniel Porter
Project Proposal: Mobile Burger Wagon
Project Location: City -Wide
Attached is a copy of Section 5.16 of the Yelm Municipal Code that discusses a
peddlers license.
To operate mobile food van throughout the City, these regulations must be followed.
To be very clear, a peddlers license allows you to travel from place to place throughout
the City. What it does not allow you to do is to park your van in any one place for any
length of time.
For example: parking your van in the QFC parking lot every day during "lunch time"
would not be acceptable; however, having your van at a special event such as a football
game, or a sales event at a local business is acceptable.
If you wish to park your van at a regular place, at regular time intervals would require
Site Plan Review and additional conditions of approval would be required such as;
paved parking, landscaping, connection to City water and sewer, and Traffic Facility
Charges.
