RE: Remaining Work to be completed at
Timbertec Maintenance Facility
Dear Mr. Walter:
On June 20, 2002, you contacted me about releasing your assigned savings for the above referenced project. It appears that all of the improvements are not complete at this time. This
list is not the final punchlist. It is your responsibility to complete the improvements and call for a final inspection. The following comments and requirements are based the approved
plans for this project. These plans were dated 8/7/01 (date of PE stamp).
Cover Sheet:
The catchbasin stencils need to be painted.
Grading, Drainage, Paving and Erosion Control Plan:
Has the 8” silt trap tees been installed on the catchbasins? I have not verified these. There should be 4 tees installed.
Note 17 says, “patch unpaved and unsurfaced areas with a min. of 2” ac over 4” cstc. This is shown in 5 areas on the plans and all utility installation cuts. (i.e. water, sewer and
storm)
Note 19 says, “ Install 5” high extruded concrete curbing per plan. This installation is used as a drainage barrier for the asphalt sheet flow.
Note 20 says, “ Stripe parking stalls….
Note 21 says, “ Provide ADA accessible….
The 8 feet of additional row still needs to be dedicated.
Water and Sewer Plan:
Restore pavement and base in Rhoton Rd per standard dwg 7-3.
Complete the installation of the risers and manhole lids for the step tank installation.
Are the bollards installed for the fire hydrants? I have not verified them at this time. If they are installed disregard this comment.
The reclaimed water line must be pressure tested and bacterial tested. If this is completed please submit the testing information.
Pond Details:
Construct 6’ high chain link fence of solid wood security fence.
At this time the City is not able to release the assigned savings until all of the improvements are completed. I will be available to inspect this work when it is completed. If you
have any questions please call me at (360) 458-8438
