landscape letterApril 3, 2002 Mr. John Walter TimberTec, Inc. P.O. Box 339 Bellingham, WA 98227 Re: Landscape and Irrigation for Timbertec, Inc. Dear Mr. Walter: I received your fax today, regarding a proposed change to the approved landscape and irrigation plan for the Timbertec site in Yelm. I have discussed your proposal with the Community Development staff, and it is the department’s consensus that a hose connection from your building to the landscape area is not acceptable, and does not meet the intent of the landscape code. The City has worked with you, to complete your land use approval, and allow you to move into the site, with the trust and understanding that you were to complete certain conditions of approval at a later date. As of today, none of the items are complete, and after the fact, you are proposing changes to an approved plan. Please install the complete irrigation system and landscaping, as shown on the approved landscape plan dated 07/01, by April 19, 2002. The trees to the North and East of the stormwater retention area may be planted when construction of the stormwater retention area is complete. If the irrigation system, and trees are not installed and approved by April 19, 2002, the City will withdraw the funds from the Assigned Savings, designated for the irrigation system, and arrange to have the system installed. This decision is final, and the City will not entertain any other proposed changes to this plan. Sincerely, Tami Merriman Planning Technician
