E -1 OCCUPANCY (E) BUILDING SCOPE OF WORK The Work consists of: The Yelm Education Center project is a tenant improvement of half of the Wolf Building in Yelm, Washington, to provide classroom space for the Yelm Extension School. Inside, the work entails demolishing misc. existing interior walls and finishes. Interior improvements include wall framing and finishes along with flooring and ceilings as noted on the drawings. The wall dividing the improved side from the unimproved will be a 1-hour occupancy separation wall. Mechanically we will get new heating units mounted on the roof. Plumbing provides new fixtures for the bathroom along with water heater and associated piping and waste. Electrical work includes new power lighting and fixtures as specified. Also included will be fire alarm system, data and telephone rough -in, clock program system, and school intercom system. No other exterior work is included here. The building was recently re- roofed and the only work here would be the curbs and roof patches at the new mechanical units. The Work will be constructed under a single prime contract. At the completion of the project the Contractor will be responsible for having the existing site amenities, i.e. grass areas, concrete walks, curbing, asphalt paving, etc., in condition equal to or better than original condition at the beginning of project. Burden of proof of "original condition" is the responsibility of the Contractor. This could be in the form of photographs or video tape. A copy of these will be turned over to the Architect prior to the beginning of construction. If this does not happen then the Architect's decision as to "original condition" will govern.
