You are hereby notified that your failure to comply with the Notice
to Abate Unsafe or Unlawful Condition (Nuisance) is a violation of
section 9.44.015 of the Yelm Municipal Code, and constitutes a
civil infraction. As provided in section 9.48.040 of the Yelm
Municipal Code, a civil penalty has been assessed against you in
the amount of $150.00, and a separate civil penalty in that amount
may be assessed against you for each day or part of day that this
violation continues until the condition specified (please see
Attachment A, Item E., 7) in the said notice has been corrected to
the city's satisfaction.
Civil penalties must be paid within thirty days after they have
been incurred. Your failure to pay the assessed penalties when due
may result in a civil suit against you for the amount of those
penalties in addition to court costs and abatement costs incurred
by the city in correcting the condition in question.
You have the right to appeal this notice to the Yelm municipal
Court as provided in section 9.48.040 D, Yelm Municipal Code,
within ten days (10) days, or within thirteen (13) days if served
by mail, as evidenced by the postmark on said notice.

The City has received reports regarding the condition of
your property located at 304 Longmire St. SW in Yelm.
Children and vagrants are placed in danger when they ent-
er the unsecured structure. The building has no doors or
windows with trash scattered throughout.
Following city and state codes and regulations as they re-
late to life safety, the City of Yelm is hereby notifying
you that you need to take steps to insure public safety by
securing the property so no entrance is possible or by de-
molishing the building.
Your immediate attention to this matter would keep the city
from taking further action.

✓ The p lice ave received numerous reports of children and
vagran s the residence of 304 Longmire Street S.W. On
several occasions, we have removed individuals from the
building which in my opinion is a safety and health hazard.
The building has no doors or windows with trash throughout.
I highly recommend the City take the necessary action to
have the owner "seal" the building.
