On March 4, 2003, a certified letter was sent to you regarding the construction of an
addition at 15708 92 "d Ct. without a building permit. To date I have not received a
response to you. Based on this as of March 11, 2003, you have been issued a stop work
order. Along with this posting the 30 day time frame for removal of the structure will
begin on March 7, 2003.

During routine inspection at an adjoining housing development, I noted that you are
constructing an addition on the back of your home at 15708 92nd Ct SE.
Your addition is apparently in violation of Yelm Municipal Code (YMC)17.15.050 as it
does not allow for the 25' separation between the structure and the back property line.
Violation of YMC Chapter 17 is a misdemeanor.
Because a Building Permit could not be issued for your project, I am requiring you to
remove the structure within 30 days of receipt of this notice.

Re: Changes to Property Structure Without Prior Approval
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Woodring.
We have reviewed your plans submitted on April 3, 2003. The proposed addition is in violation of
Yelm Municipal Code 17.15 050, as noted in the letter dated March 3, 2003, and addressed again in
the letter dated March 11, 2003, from Gary Carlson, Building Official.
The Architectural Committee cannot approve plans that are clearly in violation of the City of
Yelm's building codes. This is also a clear violation of our covenants as addressed in the
"Amended Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of Huntington Green," Article
1, Covenants Respecting Use, sections B, C & D.
This whole situation is unfortunate. It is obvious that many expenses have been incurred, all of
which are now futile due to your violations. if the plans had been submitted for review prior to
commencement of construction, problems of this nature would have been avoided. The intended
structure added to your home is in violation of city codes, association codes, is aesthetically
displeasing in relation to property boundaries and poses potential future hazards.
For future reference, please submit any and all changes to your exterior property to the
Architectural Control Committee prior to construction, or changes to paint, landscaping, siding,
etc. If you have any questions, you may address your concerns with any board member. Your
cooperation is appreciated.

Request for Variation from the Amended Declaration of Covenants, Conditions
and Restrictions of Huntington Green.

Not long after the purchase of our home we installed a back deck with a
sunk in hot tub. After about Five years and two children we decided to
enclose the deck for a playroom. Without knowing we should have received
prior approval, we framed and roofed the room. While working on the room
the City of Yelm inspector informed us that we should have received
approval from your committee and a permit from the city. The inspector was
very friendly and professional. He said he would work with us to finish the
project but work needed to cease until we received approval from your
committee for a variance to the rear lot set back.
Having thus stated our situation we respectfully request a variance for our
back lot set back from 20' to 9'. 1 have spoken to my neighbors on each side
and both have said they do not mind the setback. Also our property is backed
up to a non -shared property line. The property behind our lot is an empty
field. All construction will be performed in a workmanlike manner and the
City of Yelm will inspect for proper code.
