Re: Assigned Savings for Willow Glenn Subdivision
Dear Denny:
The City has on file, a Letter of Credit and Assignment for replacement and unfinished landscaping at Willow Glenn. Cathie Carlson and I inspected the landscaping on site and have found
the following needs replaced or completed prior to the release of the Letter of Credit.
The landscaping and street trees along Middle Road shall be completed as per the Waiver of Protest.
The planter strips adjacent to the sidewalks need to be hydro-seeded.
The trees that need replaced are as follows:
The Plum tree between lots 1 & 2.
The 2 Plum trees in front of Tract A, on Cascadian.
The 2 Plum trees on the corner of south corner of Cascadian and Welch.
The Plum tree on the north corner of Welch and Cascadian.
The Plum tree on the northwest corner of Welch and Middle Road.
The Plum tree on the north corner of Lot 21.
The Hornbeam on the southwest side of Sundance, nearest Welch.
The Plum tree on the farthest southwest side of Welch.
The Plum tree located at the southeast corner of Sundance and Middle Road, and the Plum tree located at the furthest northwest side of Welch have survived, and can stay if they are pruned
of dead branches.
There are two dead Pine trees on the north side of Tract A, Stormwater pond, as well as 7 viburnum plants (3 on the northwest, 2 on the northeast, and two on the southeast). These will
need replaced.
There are 7 viburnum plants at Tract B, Stormwater pond that need replaced, (2 on the northwest, 2 on the northeast, 1 on the southeast, and 2 on the southwest), as well as the pine
tree on the southeast corner of Tract B, Stormwater pond.
The tree at the southwest corner of Lot 1 has been removed, and had been marked dead. There is no need to replace this tree.
Please notify me when this landscaping has been replaced, and the planter strips are hydro-seeded, so that we may inspect the work, and release the funds. The trees should be planted
now in the early spring for optimum chance of survival
