Landscape commentsOctober 11, 2002 Denny Balascio 16442 Middle Road SE Yelm, WA 98597 Re: Landscape Plan for Willow Glen Phase II Dear Denny: I have reviewed the landscape plan, and have a few comments. The changes will need to be reflected on the final landscape plan. Final landscape plans are a required element of civil plan review. Please make the noted changes to your landscape plan and submit them back to me. All planter strips need to be planted with sod or hydroseed. (17.80.050(a.) Show how you intend to meet the perimeter landscape requirement, either with landscaping or fencing. Tree placement along the eastern property line, not adjoining residential lots, need to be planted 35-feet on center. This requirement may vary only when items such as driveway and water/sewer meters and line placement are involved. Street tree placement requires a ratio of 3 street trees to 1 accent tree. I have attached a street tree list for your use in determining your accent trees. The landscaping at the entrance to Tract A, stormdrain may need to be moved to provide driving entrance for maintenance. Your plan does not show your road frontage improvements on Middle Road. Those frontage improvements also need to be landscaped. This landscaping will need to be either shown on this plan, or on a separate sheet. If you have any questions, please give me a call. I can be reached at (360) 458-8496. Sincerely, Tami Merriman Planning Technician cc: Chris Aldrich, AKI
