NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that your property at 216 Yelm Avenue East is in violation of Title 18, Chapter 18.23 [Building code not permitted structure] and Chapter 18.31 section 040H2 [Development
code accessory structure height].
ALLEGATIONS OF FACT
On June 23, 2009, you paid for permit # 20090115 to build an addition onto your existing residence
On October 26, 2010, you received the last inspection of record [shear walls]
On August 8, 2011, you received a letter from the building official concerning the lack of significant progress on this project [copy attached]
On October 10, 2011, you were directed to secure a building permit to reduce the height of the structure or demolish the structure within 15 days [copy attached]
ALLEGATIONS OF LAW
The above described property is within the City of Yelm
The above described property is Zoned Central Business District (CBD) with its current use as Residential (R-4)
To date the you have not brought the site into compliance with the letter of October 10, 2011
IT IS ORDERED THAT within 15 days of receipt of this notice you submit for a demolition permit or building permit to connect the structure to the residence and complete the work.
Failure to comply with the terms of this notice of violations by stated time may result in further actions by the City of Yelm, including, but not limited to the issuance of civil penalties
of up to $250.00 per day of violations or further enforcement action through court of competent jurisdiction.
