Dear Mr. Chamberlain:
The Community Development Department has performed further review of your
presubmission request to perform a short subdivision of the commercial property on
Burnett Road, to achieve a lot more than 500-feet from Yelm Avenue for the
construction of mini storage units.
After review of the City Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Code, and the Planning
Commissions recommendation to allow storage units in the commercial zone, we find
that we can support an application for a short subdivision. You will find the
requirements for a short subdivision in Chapter 16 of the Yelm Municipal Code.
