05-0091 Wal-Mart STEP Tank Civil Review Time Line City of Yelm Community Development Department 105 Yelm Avenue West P.O. Box 479 Yelm, WA 98597   July 14, 2009 RE: Wal-Mart – COY Project Number SPR-05-0091-YL Time-Line for Civil Review of STEP Tank System The City of Yelm letter to Yelm Wal-Mart Store Manager Sherlita Kennedy dated October 11, 2007. Requiring Yelm Wal-Mart to submit a peer report from a licensed Engineer with step sewer system experience. This report was to be submitted to Yelm Community Development Department no later than October 31, 2007. In this letter it also requires that upon City of Yelm approval the plan must be implemented no later than November 15th 2007. November 13, 2007 Parametrix Engineering brought in to conduct the peer review of the Wal-Mart step tank revision. January 22, 2008 the 1st submittal of revised step tank construction plans were received by the City of Yelm Community Development Department. February 06, 2008 peer review letter completed by Parametrix Engineering. The 1st review comment letter addressing 10 comments was sent to Pac Land sometime after that (No exact record of date sent) April 11, 2008 the second review of the Wal-Mart revised Step Tank from DR Strong addressing the 10 item comment letter was received by the City of Yelm Community Development Department. On May 28, 2008 The City of Yelm sent out the comment letter for review # 2 addressing 9 comments to Mike Beach of Pac Land. July 30, 2008 the City of Yelm received the 3rd plan submittal (4th Plan Revision) for the Wal-Mart Revised Step Tank in which included the step tank calcs and plans along with a transmittal. No response letter. September 25th, 2008 the City of Yelm Community Development sent out the 3rd comment letter for review # 3 which included 3 comments to Mike Beach of Pac Land. On October 20th, 2008 The City of Yelm Community Development Department received 1 revised plan sheet for review # 4. No response letter enclosed. On November 14, 2008 it was discovered that there were some items not addressed earlier on and need to be addressed at this time. The City of Yelm Community Development Department sent out the comment letter for review # 4 with 7 comments on it, to Mike Beach of Pac Land. This was also sent to Mike Beach in e-mail form from Karen Bennett November 14, 2008. Submittal for review # 5 was sent by e-mail from Mike Beach of Pac Land. No response letter enclosed. The plan was printed and sent by e-mail to the other departments. The comment letter to the 5th review was sent out to Mike Beach on January 15th, 2009 with 6 comments to respond to. January 26, 2009 Submittal for Review # 6 from DR Strong with a new revised plan sheets. No response letter enclosed. February 20, 2009. 6th review comments. It appears the comments are being not being fully addressed by Engineers. No re-submittal from Engineers. March 16, 2009, Jim Doty (City of Yelm Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager) and I met to address the issues to get them resolved for approval of this project. Sent Mike Beach a requirement letter stating what needs to be done to make this project happen. March 17, 2009 The following e-mail below, is the last time I have heard back from Mike Beach of Pac Land, after I had sent the below e-mail asking of the status for the Wal-Mart Revised Step Tank Project. I don’t see any problems with the letter.  I’m currently working with WM on lumpng the STEP tank in with the roadway connection to 103rd.
