Wal-Mart - Corner of SR 507/SR 510 Loop Signal Controller
Mike -
Thank you for meeting Tami and I onsite today. I look forward to getting this issue resolved so work can continue in this corner.
I do have a concern that work has been continuing on the signal system, cabinet and sidewalk since April 16 when I brought up the location of the signal cabinet. If we do not get a resolution
soon the signal will be complete and it will take more effort for the contractor to relocate the cabinet.
I hope we can get some type of answer or direction at the Tuesday project meeting so we can continue to work toward completing this project in time for your projected opening date.
On another note we still need to reschedule the meeting between Pacland and City of Yelm to discuss the process and expectations for project close out and Certificate of Occupancy.
This meeting is intended to layout the process that will need to be completed for C of O. Are you available on Wednesday May 2 at 4:00pm? Please let me know.

Jim,
Per our meeting on-site today we are looking into the required measures it would take in order to move the signal controller and service cabinet. We should have some information for
you in the near future.

To all -
Steve came back from the Wal-Mart meeting last week with a recommended location to relocate the signal controller. The location was generally on the SR 510 Loop next to the fire hydrant.
We went out on site on Friday and reviewed this location. This location is acceptable to the City. Please make sure that the cabinets are at least 3 feet from the fire hydrant so
we are able to maintain the fire hydrants.
If there are any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact myself or Steve Harrington.

Mike -
I was out on site today looking at the illumination poles along SR 507 and happen to notice the signal control boxes located directly in the corner of the SR 507 and SR 510 loop. On
one of the early Tuesday job meetings, (I am researching the notes for the date of the meeting) the City had required that all above ground utility boxes not be located on this corner
due to the pedestrian access and the corner structure being located there. The current location of the controllers does not reflect what the city requested in that construction meeting.
At this time the City is again, requesting that the signal control boxes be relocated to another area of this corner that will not affect the pedestrian access or the view of the corner
structure that was approved by the City.
If you have any questions feel free to contact Grant Beck or myself.
