Re: Landscape Comments – Hawks Landing
Dear Kathy:
I have completed the initial review of the landscape plans for Hawks Landing and have the following comments:
1. The size and type of trees selected are consistent with City code.
2. Please add additional street trees to achieve the placement ratio that is consistent with development standards. Street trees are required to be spaced 35’ on center.
3. You should include driveway locations to ensure tree placement and the irrigation system do not conflict with the driveways.
4. The perimeter of the site is required to have either an eight foot landscape buffer or a minimum six foot solid fence. Please identify which option will be used to meet the requirement
and include the information on the revised plans.
5. Storm drainage tracts must be landscaped to provide visual relief. Please add landscaping to these tracts.
6. If I’m remembering correctly a landscape and improvement plan for the open space tract will be submitted separately. The plan review and comments in this letter do not include
the open space tract.
7. Two sets of revised plans will be adequate.
