As an authorized representative of the applicant and owner, Blake and Misdom Living Trust,
we are requesting deferral of the requirement for frontage improvements as requested in the
City's Staff Report dated August 11, 2005.
The adjacent parcels, a Shell gas station and Annie's Bistro, do not have frontage
improvements meeting current City standards. On either side of these parcels is Cullens Road
and Longmire Street, respectively.
We believe the stretch of improvements between Cullens Road and Longmire Street be better
suited if they were constructed at the same time for functionality, aesthetics, and safety. The
client would sign a deferral agreement with the City to defer their share of the improvements
to a later time the City deems appropriate. The client may also consider afee-in-lieu of
constructing these improvements.
